At With Room To Grow, we believe that a room is more than just four walls—it’s a place where children should feel safe, seen, and supported. Our purpose is to create healing environments for children who are experiencing some of life’s most difficult challenges: trauma, foster care, homelessness, grief, mental health struggles, or the loss of stability due to divorce or major life transitions.

Every child deserves a space that reflects who they are and gives them a sense of belonging. A room can be a retreat, a launchpad for dreams, a reflection of identity—and for many of the children we serve, it’s the first time they’ve ever had a space that feels truly theirs.

We partner with families, social workers, shelters, and schools to identify children in need, and we transform their rooms with thoughtful, personalized design—bedroom makeovers that include everything from beds and bedding to color, furniture, décor, and small touches that bring joy and comfort. Each space is tailored to the child’s interests, personality, and emotional needs.

Our mission is rooted in love, hope, and dignity. We know that while we can't change everything a child has gone through, we can change the way they feel when they walk through the door. And sometimes, that’s where the healing begins.
