We are happy to provide room transformations for children 17 and under

We serve children who are going through or have been shaped by challenging life experiences - such as homelessness, trauma, foster care, grief, or family separation. We also support children who experience the world in beautifully unique ways, including those with autism or other cognitive and developmental differences. Every child deserves a space where they feel safe, seen and truly at home.

We focus on transforming the look and feel of a child's space - adding warmth and comfort through design and decor. This includes furniture, bedding, wall art, lighting, storage, and thoughtful touches that reflect the child's personality. Please note we don't make structural changes or handle electrical work.

Nothing at all! Our room transformations are offered completely free of charge to families. This work is made possible by generous donors, volunteers, and community support.

Yes, please do! Whether you're a teacher, caseworker, relative, or family friend, you can help make a difference by nominating a child in need. The nomination form can be found here: 

Absolutely! We know children and their caretakers know best what makes them feel at home. We gather input on favorite colors, interests, comfort needs, and anything else that helps us design a space that feels personal and healing.

Yes - when siblings share a room or live closely together, we consider their needs as well. If a sibling has faced similar life challenges, we do our best to include elements that make them feel seen and valued too. In shared spaces, we create zones that reflect each child's personality while fostering a sense of unity. While our primary focus is the nominated child, we know how deeply connected siblings are - especially in times of hardship. We will do our best to help both children feel included.                  

Once the room is revealed, we check in with the family to make sure everything is working well and that the child is adjusting happily in their new space. We also provide care tips and resources, so the transformation remains a lasting gift.

Our goal is, and will always be, to help as many children as our resources allow.
